2012recongressimgPreparations for the 2012 RE Congress are well underway.  The Religious Education Congress, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Office of Religious Education, is the USA's largest annual gathering of Roman Catholics! The last RECongress, held in March 2011, brought together nearly 40,000 people during the four-day weekend!

A Poem for a President

crumlin_thumbThe President of Ireland Michael D Higgins paid a visit to St Agnes’ School in Crumlin, Dublin on 12th December 2011.  He was welcomed with ‘The Presidential Salute’ played by the children, parents and grandparents of the school’s Violin and Orchestra Project and this was followed by a 20 minute programme of music, songs and a Nativity scene.
